Day 1 - Reykjavik, Iceland; Embarkation Day
Welcome to Reykjavik where a world of wonder awaits as you step on board and raise your glass to toast the start of your luxurious cruise.
Day 2 - Snæfellsnes Peninsula
Sparkling fjords, dramatic volcanic peaks, sheer sea cliffs and vast lava flows beckon as we cruise in and around the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. See vast concentrations of bird species nesting on the treacherous Látrabjarg cliffs and marine life in the waters of the Peninsula.

Day 3 - Isafjordur
Located in the incredibly stunning landscapes of the Westfjords is the small town of Isafjordur.

Day 4 - Grimsey Island to Akureyri
Keep your eyes open for whales and dolphins as we cruise to Grimsey Island north of the mainland and straddling the Arctic Circle.
Cruise into the harbour of Akureyri this evening and admire the views of the brightly coloured houses
with the backdrop of a snow-capped mountain under the sultry hues of the Arctic summer evening.

Day 5 - Akureyri
There is ample time in this lovely city to explore at your leisure and enjoy some of the local nightlife.

Day 6 - Husavik
Nestled on the edge of Shaky Bay, the town of Husavik is one of the best locations in Iceland to see multiple species of whales.

Board the traditional fishing boats for a whale-watching cruise or visit the geothermal region of Lake Mývatn. Alternatively enter Vatnajökull National Park and see the impressive Dettifoss waterfall whose powerful flow originates from the largest glacier in Iceland. Day 7 - Seydisfjordur
We dock right in the heart of this charming town settled by wealthy Norwegian fishermen, allowing free time for you to explore at leisure.

Day 8 - Westman Islands
This small archipelago was born from geological volatility and is home to vast species of birdlife including nesting puffins each summer. Heimaey was the site of the eruption of the Eldfell volcano in 1973 that covered most of the island with volcanic ash.

Tour the island and visit the Volcano Museum built around one of the destroyed houses or take a hike over the lava fields to the top of the new volcanic cone. Alternatively cruise around the island with a local captain in search of birdlife, including the puffin colonies and discover hidden caves. Helicopter excursions are available^.

Day 9 - Thorlakshofn

Day 11 - Snæfellsnes Peninsula

Day 12 - Denmark Strait
Relax on board, discover the expansive array of facilities, try a class in Scenic Epicure as we cross the Denmark Strait following in Erik the Red’s footsteps heading for Greenland. Keep your eye peeled for icebergs and whales.
Day 13 - Skjoldungen Fjords
A day of discovery awaits in these fjords on the southeast coast of Greenland hosting an array of marine life including whales and seals.

Day 14 - Nanortalik
Cruise through the majestic Prins Christian Sund, a fjord surrounded by towering mountain pinnacles and glaciers. Arrive at the little town of Nanortalik, the southernmost in Greenland. Discover the unique Inuit culture as you visit the Museum and meet the residents who share stories of their seafaring history with you.
Day 15/16 - At sea
We follow the footsteps of Leif Erikson, son of Eric as we cruise the Labrador Sea. Relax on board and perhaps learn some new cooking techniques in Scenic Epicure.
Day 17 - L’Anse aux Meadows
Visit World Heritage-listed L’Anse aux Meadows, the only known Norse village in North America and explore this unique archaeological site.

Day 18 - Battle Harbour
For two centuries, Battle Harbour was the economic and social centre of the southeastern Labrador coast of Canada. Your passionate local guide will escort you around this carefully preserved village sharing stories of the traditional life and times of Newfoundlanders and Labradoreans.
Day 19 - Gros Morne National Park
Only accessible by smaller vessels like Scenic Eclipse, Gros Morne National Park’s ancient landscape is shaped by colliding continents and grinding glaciers and is a World Heritage-listed Site.

Day 21 - Tadoussac
Located at the confluence of the Saguenay and Saint Lawrence Rivers is the charming town of Tadoussac. A whale watchers paradise where their favourite food, krill abounds in massive amounts.

Day 22 - Québec City
The stunning city of Québec signals the end of your cruise as you disembark after breakfast, taking with you a lifetime of wonderful memories.
