• Day 1 - Valparaiso, Chile; Embarkation day

  Welcome to Valparaiso where your journey into wonder begins with a warm greeting by the crew as you step on board Scenic Eclipse. Raise your glass this evening to toast the start of your luxurious cruise.

  IMPORTANT: Please arrive by 5am (pre tour accommodation in Valparaiso recommended).

• Day 2 - At sea

  Relax and enjoy the amazing facilities of your floating resort and perhaps take a dip in the Scandinavian-inspired plunge pools. Try creating Chilean specialities in Scenic Epicure.

• Day 3 - Chiloé Island

  Discover the World Heritage-listed churches and architecture of Castro or take a discovery adventure by kayak, e-bike or Zodiac spotting birdlife and native fauna.

• Day 4/7 - Inner Fjords

  At the foot of the massive Darwin Cordillera mountain range, the majestic scenery and wildlife of the inner passages of the Chilean Channels is an assault on the senses. Watch from the Sky Terrace, the Observation Terrace or your private verandah as the Captain and local Chilean Pilot expertly manoeuvre Scenic Eclipse through the islands and channel markers of the English Narrows.

  Be awed by the power of the ever-growing Pio XI (Brüggen) Glacier as you come close to the glacial face on a Zodiac or kayak or soar above in the helicopter^. Glaciers abound in this incredible landscape and you will discover the El Brujo and Amalia glaciers and many more highlights in these marvellous days filled with exploration.

• Day 8 - Magdalena Island

  Lying in the Magellan Strait, this small island is a national monument of Chile and breeding location for many species of birds including the Magellanic penguin.

  Discovery excursions by Zodiac and kayak will highlight the beauty of the island and walking tours led by passionate local guides sharing their insights will be a highlight.

• Day 9/10 - Beagle Channel

  Sensory days of cruising await as we traverse the Beagle Channel, the Magellan Strait and Garibaldi Fjord. Glaciers and fjords abound with the Tierra del Fuego Andes Mountains the backdrop. Pass by Cape Horn as we cruise across to the Falkland Islands.

• Day 11 - Stanley

  Discover the picturesque capital of the Falklands, Stanley, get to know the friendly locals and uncover their history and heritage at the Museum.

  Take a walking tour of the small capital or on a Battlefields tour visit the key sites of the conflict. Alternatively, at Gypsy Cove walk the wildlife trail or even choose to play a round of golf. You may also choose to explore by e-bike.

• Day 12 - Saunders, Falkland Islands

  Saunders Island is where you can see the graceful King penguin on white sandy beaches on a discovery excursion.

• Day 13 - At sea

  Relax and enjoy the amazing facilities of your floating resort or join an informative and entertaining presentation by your Discovery Team.

• Day 14 - Ushuaia

  Explore this unique town, the southernmost in the world, at your leisure. Cruise through the Beagle Channel admiring the dramatic views of the Andean mountains of Tierra del Fuego.

• Day 15/16 - At sea

  Make yourself at home on board the Eclipse, where luxury is almost limitless. As you sail south, wildlife spotting opportunities abound; your Discovery Team will be out on deck looking for albatross, prions, and petrels that follow the ship. They will present lectures on the history and geology of the Falkland Islands and the Southern Ocean.

• Day 17/22 - Antarctic Peninsula

  The first sightings of icebergs and snow-capped mountains signal that you have reached the Antarctic Peninsula. Due to the extraordinary nature of the region, the sailing and expedition schedule is flexible during your time in Antarctica. Your experienced Captain and Discovery Leaders will carefully plan each day’s activities based on the conditions. Navigate some of the most beautiful waterways including Paradise Bay and the stunning Lemaire Channel where steep cliffs hem in the iceberg-filled passage. Visit a working base like Esperanza Station. At Port Lockroy, you can send a postcard home from this most remote and isolated post office to share
  a unique memory with your loved ones.

  Equipped with a fleet of Zodiacs, kayaks, snowshoes, helicopters and a submarine^, a discovery excursion will take you to the place of your wildest dreams. Depending on weather and ice conditions you will partake in an average of two excursions a day, escorted by your expert Discovery Team.

• Day 23/24 - At sea

  Farewell your adventure in the icy lands as we set sail heading north to the continent of South America. Take the opportunity for a last presentation by the Discovery Team and share memories of your experiences with new found friends.

• Day 25 - Arrive in Buenos Aires; Disembarkation

  Your cruise ends this morning as you farewell the crew. Disembark after breakfast to fly to Buenos Aires, taking away memories of a truly unforgettable experience.
